Iendorser.com
Hi everyone, here's another blog of mine called IEndorser.com. The focus of this blog is that everyone endorses something online and this records what I endorse. This is sort of an experiment for me in earning thru affiliate marketing.
Aspects that need reviewing:
- Contents
- Affiliate Marketing
- Advertisements
- Layout
- What more can I improve
Thank you very much people

I'd try and not use images in the blog that will become pixelated, looks very bad...especially when it's the first thing you see. Apart from that everything looks good, nice layout, logo etc.

For a blog I'm designing I'm using this theme, very fond of it
Why don't you center your banner and make it larger? I know it would mean one less advert but is that really going to make much difference? It will make it more like a blog that way and less like an advert fest
Just an iidea
It's looking good though
I'd find a vector RSS icon so that you can scale it larger without it pixelating

@fthom: Thanks for the feedback. The images was my problem, but I can't just leave it without an image as it will display a blank box. How about if I was to put generic images that depends on the category?

@NathanielRosa Thanks for the review. I was actually thinking about that, I'm not making any money thru top header, but you're right it might actually help. I actually didn't realize that the rss was pixilated, I'll try to find an alternative image.

I do like the idea of having generic images for catagories but that could get a little boring...just stick with having individual images, just make sure they are not scaled out of proportion - just avoid uploading low res files.

@fthom hmm, that's the problem I'm having. I don't think companies do upload their hi res logo on their websites...

hmm...that is a bit of a problem. One option would be to email the companies to ask for higher res logos or just screen capture the highest one you can. Perhaps use an app like photoshop to scale the image up yourself, rather than letting the blog do it and mess it up.

you should just show the graphic at it's original size up to the full size of space you have allotted, scale it if it is bigger than that size, the algorithm for this is pretty straightforward. The bigger concern is that you're using copyrighted logos without permission

@justy540 thanks for the review, that's true I'll be working on the tweaks for the images when I do have the time. As for the copyright concerns, If the owner doesn't want to be featured they could contact me and I'll take it down right away.

@solexy I'm working on the SEO and should take months to build up. What's the w3c validation for? I'm not so sure how that could help with wordpress?
I'll check on the buttons and see what if I could tweak my way around that. And there's a plugin I should find for the ajax display of images.
Thanks for the time!
