Hello everybody, I know I'm real new to the boards but I am in the process of starting a text based media company (I guess thats what I would call it). Anyways the site is not up yet, it will be fully functional by next week.

I am using this site as a test run, handling orders and processing their information for another similar product, but I'd like not to give it away until it is ready. It requires that you have or will get a PayPal account and are willing to receive text messages (you might pay per message if you don't have an unlimited text plan, so check your plan).

Heres the deal.

1) Go to Daily Quotes to your Cell Phone
2) You go to site, look around and judge layout.
3) You sign-up for the subscription, note any problems or anything you don't like. The subscription is $.99 a month for the first 100 subscribers, but the first month is free (this is your test window, just cancel before the month is up).
4) Receive service and tell me how you like/don't like or whatever.
5) I am grateful and make any changes.

Thanks alot, I know I haven't been here long so I'm 21, from Long Island,NY go to Stony Brook University where I study Math, I'm an amateur fighter I got hurt and can't train for awhile so I said "hey! Why not start some businesses up?" and thats what I'm doing.

Sorry, yea it's a little vague.

This will be a daily quotes to your phone service. I picked daily quotes because theres lots of them and have a large data base. I want to see what it's like handling a large amount users, I've changed some things so I can keep the price very low 0.99-1.99 per month while others charge 5 or more.

If I can handle this project, then I will go through with having a professional site made up and target my small little niche with similar (not quotes though) service.

If you don't want to sign up thats cool, please judge the layout and whatever you can. Rip it apart, I want honesty. I also decided I might keep this if I can cover overhead in a month or two.

Still working on designs for the site to make it more attractive, but in the meantime I finished the sign-up /registration and made it a whole bunch easier. All done in one step instead of 2 now, so it's less confusing.

Ok, any suggestions on making the site look better? Specific suggestions? I'm a simpleton and I wish everything was basic colors and thats it. My site fits my needs but Im not the customer.

I can do some html but not much and I don't have the money to hire a pro yet. Any template sites useful? I'll browse through the ones I have with my sitebuilder( Yahoo, has over a hundred) and see what I find.

Oh yea, I'm #2 on google for "daily text message quote", woohoooo!

I updated the site layout but was told and do think the homepage needs some more help.

Also, no one has signed up for a test yet. If you did you did just tell me its you at least!
