How do you like my site?

News-String.com

It launched yesterday and is still in the beta stages, but let me know what you guys think. My object is for it to be an ideal homepage for people who doent want to go all over the web to look at their favorite news sites.

critiques, comments welcome

Love the site...creative idea as well grouping the major news groups. However there is a lot of scrolling involved, it may be more user friendly if the scrolling was minimized.

The scrolling is definitely a problem - especially the horizontal scrolling. I don't think it's necessary to put the sites within a scrollable box - people are used to the long look of the news pages on their own, you can leave it like that. Also you have a broken image at the top left. But good idea!

ok i made the iframe larger so that you can see the websites better. it also gets rid of some of the scroll bars, but not all because each of the diffrent news sites have diffrent webpage sizes. i don't think it will bother the normal web browser though.

Good idea! Would it be possible to allow users to customize which news sites they want to include / add?
