how can I get more hits and users

Please check my site mymissedconnection.com and let me know what you think. I launched the site 7 months ago. I had to learn how to do it because I didn't have any cash to hire someone. What can I do to get more users to post.

Just throwin my 2c in, but nowadays, most people come to sites for information, why not put some interesting articles or stories on there?

you can always visit elance.com or rentacoder.com and purchase someone to write some articles for you. I think the average is 3-4 dollars per article(300-400 wrds), which is really good.
