Fanranker.com - Please review
Hi All,
I would first like to say I am glad to have found this site as I have received great advice and have also given some advice/feedback on this site.
Here goes... the site is a sports site that caters to sports fans. Please let me know your thoughts: http://www.fanranker.com
We are still making some tweaks on it so please keep that in mind.
Things to consider when reviewing:
-Colors/Layout
-Functionality/Ease of use
-Logo
-Load time
-Browser compatability
-Is it appealing?
 Thank you

Hi Reginald,
Your site looks great, I like the logo, the template, everything, however I believe the css might need to be adapted to Safari also. When I view it in Safari everything below the header and navi bar, is pushed to the very right side.
However, with the logo, it is a bit difficult to read it. I didn't know it was FanRanker, just by looking at the logo. The R doesn't quite look like an R. Other than that, I like the image.
Very well done. Just work on that CSS, make it work with Safari too.

I certainly appreciate your responding to me. I have been getting some feedback that it looks nice, but people don't fully understand it.
I will be creating some demos to help solve that problem, but can you think of anything else to explain how the site works?
Thanks again.

The changes are on the way
I am in the process of changing some things and features on the site to make it simple, fun, interactive, and informative.
I will repost once it is all finished.
Thanks.

I like the design, especially the the menu. The logo is nice but i agree that it does not quite look like an "R", but definitely a cool logo. As far as the demos go,i would recommend doing videocasts instead of a text tutorial. Also i think it would be cool if you could set up a podcast where you have guest interviewed and talk about their teams. What would be even cooler would be two fans of opposite rival teams going at it with each other on why their team is better. This could involve a session of pure bashing, throwing out facts, statistics, etc... the goal is to prove who knows their team the best. best of luck.

Really great site - great idea!
I suggest making a different kind of forum though. Like IPB or something. They are more user friendly, customizable, and better overall.

Thank you for the feedback
I certainly appreciate the feedback and kind words. We have worked very hard on the site, but still have a way to go.
We hope sports fans will embrace it and find it fun, competitive, entertaining, and interactive.
Thanks.

Well, I have heard this before and decided to stick with the current logo because it is unique. Hopefully people will recognize it when they see it and associate it with FanRanker.
If there are any other suggestions, please feel free to let me know. I appreciate all feedback.

Looks good, the colors are a little drab, R in logo could be more defined.
I liked the concept and did not find it hard to follow....good job.

Please Review Demo(s)
Hi All,
I would certainly appreciate some feedback on the Demo(s) for the Rookie & All-star memberships.
Some things to consider:
1. How do you like the speed of the demo... to fast or too slow?
2. Does it explain how the membership works?
3. Do you like the graphics?
Thank you.
