Thumbs up Entrepreneur-Blog.com - feedback wanted...
Hi guys,
I have been spending most of the night totally modifying the current template.

1. I have removed the polaroid picture from the header, i think this has cleaned it up a bit.

2. I removed the third column and gave the content more room, as 'content is king'

3. Moved advertisements into the header...

4. Changed the background to a not so bright colour.


I wanted to improve the usability as I just thought it was getting way to cluttered.

What do you guys think?

(oh, and I already realize I will have to change the way I add pictures on the top of each post)

The content area, looks much better. It is just not as busy anymore making it much easier to read. But the sponsered sites are breaking out of their div.

that is strange, what browser are you using, because I am running firefox and IE and it looks fine in both :S

hrm.. I think its a little too grey/red.. it sort of does funny things with my eyes.. but maybe thats just me :/

The overall design is ok, not a big fan of the font used in the header or the logo itself..?

Content is good however.

Richkid,

Good work on modifying the template - did you purchase this as an exclusive template from Unique Blog Designs [Nate Whitehill]? I like the progress so far.

The only thing that takes away (slightly) is the gray, lifeless header - place a good stock photo or proprietary design up there and you'll be rolling!

no it is actually a free template from adii. I will be working more on it later. But my custom theme for Make Money Blogging With Thomas Sinfield just got coded so I am doing the finishing touches to that so I can get it up and running... (It looks fantastic!)

Looks good Tom. I have IE7 and firefox 5.0 and I see the same thing. Your advertisements are out of the borders. It's looks alot more appealing without the polaroid. Other than that it looks great!
