Hey everyone, just to introduce myself, my name is Antonio and I am a web developer trying to branch away from working for "the man" for the rest of my life. Recently i started my 4th website , the others i'll save for a seperate thread (2 of them incomplete, 1 other one i coded myself). My most current website is DrunkFunnyPhotos | Show Us Your Drunk Side! which started as pretty much me wanting to learn Drupal and not believing that the domain name drunkfunnyphotos.com was available. So it seemed like a pretty easy type of website to build with drupal learning its ins and outs. I'm a month in working on this on the side and so far so good, i have learned a lot and am pretty excited about what the result thus far. So now i turn to you guys (the forum) to help me make it even better and hopefully make money off of it one day. Things that i would like some feedback on are as followed:
- Theme. Right now i have a very basic theme, but want feedback on what colors and fonts you think would create the most appropriate look
- Features. If anyone has worked with drupal, you know that there are thousands of modules out there to do basically anything. Other than a photo gallery, forum, and a games section i have nothing else to offer.
- Content. should i bother with anymore types of content other than photos? Also If any of you have any funny photos i can add please let me know, right now i have membership closed but will be opening up memberships soon
- Does the site capture your attention? do you find it funny? do you think it has potential?
I know the site is not much to look at right now and the speed of the site sucks in my opinion, but thats the least of my worries since i'll be moving to a dedicated host once i start getting some kind of significant traffic. Let me know what you think, all feedback, negative or positive, is always welcomed.
