Question CheapRiver.com - Get cheap books by comparing multiple Amazon websites

I would appreciate if you can review my website cheapriver.com.

    E.g.
Is it directly clear how it works?
    What about the design?
    Any other tips?

    Thanks

    Jaap

The picture on how it works is cut out towards the German prices
I think it contains too much content for a search engine
If you could make it look clean and simple it will be okay and try using different colors/themes

Nice site will be handy for searching prices. I don't like the layout though.

Make the search more prominent. I'd suggest increasing the font size of the search and the button. Maybe change the border of the textbox to make it stand out more. Make it centered and add a lot of whitespace around it.

Make your logo go to your home page.

Remove a lot of the text on the home page. Using bold is a good idea to make it more scannable but I'd seriously cut down on what you have there. Maybe change it to a list

    1. Search for books
    2. Compare international Amazon sites
    3. Find cheapest price

    That's much easier to read.

And definitely get that currency conversion going. I see you're working on that.

For the results page I would add more separation between the listings. Maybe just a border-bottom on each item, or a full box around each one.

I'd also change the "Buy at Amazon.ca" text link to an image that stands out more. Maybe have a different image for the cheapest column. You could also consider adding a button below the book cover that links to the cheapest option and just say "Buy for $15". Probably should put "(includes shipping)" in there.

Anyway I really like the site idea and execution. I'd love to hear how it's going and keep up to date with it. Do you have a blog or a twitter account for this site?
