It really depends on what you want to do. I can provide you with some help, if that is what you are looking to do. I have some excess capacity that I am looking to capitalize apon. I can create a virtual machine (in VMWare ESX) for you with some dedicated resources and your choice of operating system (within reason.... either some Linux OS on Windows Server 2003 Standard). It will be hosted on a nice SAN and is connected up to a multiple OC3 uplink via Ethernet behind a Cisco firewall.

Let me know how much you are looking to do, resource wise, and I will beat any reasonable offer out there on the Net.

Do you need reseller account or dedicated server?

Its depend upon your requirement, there are so many hosting provide in market which provide low cost dedicated server, but you have check requirement with them.

and they're doing well. Check it out.

Unless you really need dedicated servers, they have some cheap shared plans,using which you can start off your business without much investment. Once you make some money, then buy dedicated servers.

Dedis ... some nice ones I have seen from rackspace.com and gazzin.com. They offer tons of dedis of various configurations and think even the most captious web master is able to bet the right one for himself.

HostGator has an entry level server starting @ $174. I would stay away from super cheap servers as the quality of service tends to be poor. Also managed servers are the way to go unless you have experience with running a dedicated server.

To my mind, you need to buy reseller hosting plan and get special control panel to operate with. As for recommendation, just check glowhost.com reseller offers. Also this company offers attractive dedicated server solutions at sweet price. Settle for a reliable host that charges a reasonably high rate and offers good service.

Reselling on a Dedicated Server is always a good option where you can use all the resources of the server. I would recommend cPanel or Plesk control panel where you can manage multiple accounts/websites with ease.
