Hi all,
I am new in programming and I just joined a company that offers secure file transfer software components. So I firstly want to gather some selective information on why should I use Secure FTP instead of FTP? And why is SFTP better than FTP?

If you haven't already googled it
All it does is encrypts both commands and data, making it pointless to pluck up your files as your are uploading them to your site.
In general it would only allow the really hard core hackers to get your info kinda weeds out all the low class guys.

SFT is a secure FTP connection, you can use for SFT connection winscp which is good, i am using from last 6month.
