What do you think of registering domain name and buy hosting with one and the same company?

I came across sibername.com and decided to register .com domain extension, but when I found out that it offers free domain registration for buying any hosting plan, I started thinking of doing this. What do you think about this company? Will it be reasonable?

Ehh there is nothing to loose really. I prefer to use godaddy but a lot of providers now offer free domain names and you can even use the domain name with another host if you cancel or want to upgrade to something else.

DreamHost has this going on. If you use the coupon code "DREAMNAME" you get a free dot com or whatever with your hosting account. I've used this in the past many times, cant beat a free domain name.

A lot of web hosts offer this. I would look around some more before you decide on sibername.com

I agree, a lot of web hosts offer this, I have not heard of them so cannot offer any advise as to their service but you need to make sure that you are dealing with a reputable company. Also, take a look at there server up time and what other people are saying about their service. Do a search on the internet and see what comes up.

Lots of web hosts offer that and with this fact lots of arguments are connected. You need to be sure that domain name is more important thing and you need to have administrative right for it

As long as you actually own the domain name.
If you decided to cancel your web hosting or move your hosting - will you still own your domain?
Be sure to read the fine print...

Ditto - some companies will register the domain name under them so you are forced to stay there. Very tricky!

I've heard from my friends only positive information about sibername.com. The company's well-skilled and well-educated support staff always give you a helping hand if you need it. Actually I don't see the bad side of it, if you get free domain when you register domain name with the same company. Also they have attractive offers of services for their clients.

Taking the advantage of the opportunity, I'd like to say that sibername.com will be nice choice. You don't need to go a mucker on the other companies services, as the price seems to be affordable. Personally, I think that it would be suitable for you to get free domain name if you buy hosting plan...
