I would argue that basing your site on typos and common misspellings actually harms your brand reputation and site. It says to the customer, I do not provide a product/service of sufficient quality to entice you to visit my website on your own. Even if you use the site as a redirect to a differenct site, the customer knows that have managed to take them to a site that they did not want to visit.

Instead, I feel that it is much better to build a solid brandname through providing a quality product/service.
