Marblehost smallest plan alone provides their clients with a whopping 15 Gigabytes of hard drive space and 300 Gigabytes of data transfer.
Will that be enough for running forums on them?

To get you started that will be more then enough. I can speak from experience, as an experienced web-host, that most people use less then 1GB of space and have less then 5GB in transfer.

To get you started 15/300GGB will be more then enough.

Think that you will make good decision to have a look at espinda.com before to deal with this or that web hosting provider. It happened so that this decent company offers nice forum hosting solution at very reasonable price. You should settle for reliable host like this one.
