I've been on Dreamhost shared for over the past 2 years. Lately I've noticed it's been getting pretty slow. I have roughly 18 or so affiliate websites that would probably earn a little more if load speeds were faster.
Please recommend me any VPS hosts you have experience with.
A friend of mine recommends Slicehost. I am thinking of them.

What kind of traffic are your websites getting? I'm sure its the server that your on. Most people dont require VPS unless they are getting crazy amounts of traffic. I use HostGator you might want to give them a try.

I've been using Star Dot Hosting , Web Hosting In Canada – Canada Web Hosting for VPS hosting for over a year and am really happy with their services. I was with slicehost and then linode before stardot and was pretty unhappy with how unreliable linode's network is for example -- they are constantly getting DoS attacks and their support (although responses were quick), were rude and un-friendly.
