Please help me in choosing web hosting

Hi everyone,
I am sorry for possible offtopic, but I need your help in find new web hosting provider as soon as possible, because my current host (bluehost.com) is kicking me off, they say 'your account is using a lot server resources', but my website gets only about 200 visitors per day and my disk usage is 1500 MB (maybe they do not like that?)

Anyway, what would be your recommendations for getting reliable web hosting? Where are you hosting your websites? Are you happy with your providers?

I am now checking hosting24.com - offer looks very nice, but is it real that they can provide unlimited disk space?
I have contacted them about this question and they say something that "These days 500GB disk drive costs only $30 per month, so if some day we will run out of disk space we will simply add new 500GB disk drive with almost zero costs and you can continue uploading without any problems".

What do you think about it? Maybe things have changed in last 4 years? With my current provider I get only 2GB of disk space for $10 per month..
Any ideas and suggestions are much appreciated.

hostgator.com

They are sometimes a pain in the ass but they always tend to get things done... the prices are not bad either.

Unlimited disk space is a lie. Big companies like hosting24 etc say this because they know the average shared hosing customer is lucky to even use 1GB of bandwidth/month and 3GB of disk space/month. They say this to dazzel you into purchasing from them. However, it sounds like bluehost is kicking you off because you are actually using resources that you supposedly paid for. hostgator, godaddy, hosting24, they will all do the same thing to you. Find a hosting provider that will actually let you use what the package you purchase specifies. If you buy a hosting package that says unlimited from them, they will kick you off when you use an "excessive" amount of resources, which is at their discretion.

let me know if i can help,

Yeah I heard that too. If they say "unlimited" then they will proberly suspend your account, when you go over a certain amount.

it is unwise to choose unlimited disk space or bandwith. because it is true in this world nothing is unlimited.
consider the bandwith with suitable with your need......

1&1 Internet Inc. - Web Hosting Services and Domain Name Registration Is who I use for all my sites. They offer alot of options from hosting, dedicated servers, email, DISC Space, e-commerce assistance, e-shop (which is cool by itself), I use IPswitch FTP to upload my files to the server. They also have templates you can use if you want to create a "kids" site or just an informational site. I hope it helps you.

Shared Web Hosting provider - Multi Domain Hosting - PHP Web Hosting - Web Site Hosting - Web Hosting Service - Multiple Domain Hosting - Reseller Hosting - Blog Hosting - Downtown Host LLC

Do a Google search for them, nothing but happy customers. Sorry, you won't find unlimited amounts of bandwidth for $4.99 here, but they do have great prices and a 99.9% uptime guarantee. They also have a 30-day money back guarantee. It's who I use and it's extremely easy which is good for me because I have no idea what I'm doing!

Hostgator.com

I use them, really good prices for what they offer. And I have not had any issues with support at all with either the email ticket system, or live help.

Also if you use the coupon code "BEACH", they'll give you 20% off your initial purchase until Aug. 1st I believe.

Re: Hosting24

They are a big bunch of scamsters and crooks!

Not only is their 000WebHosting a total lie and they kicked all accounts there I evaluated with no real excuse (which is at their discretion as you say, but it answers the question wheter their service can be trusted, too )

Their service is non existing.

And their contact/support email from the official Hosting24.com page produced this reply:

Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:

info @ Hosting24 . com

Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the recipient domain. We recommend contacting the other email provider for further information about the cause of this error. The error that the other server returned was: 550 550 No such person at this address (state 14).

Great response for a service address

0xy.Gen,

I would go with the majority of the people here and say that unlimited bandwidth and hard disk space is bull. I suggest not going with anyone like that!

I use asmallorange.com they have been good to me.

I have used:
imhosted.com
godaddy.com
rockethost.com
vpslink.com
spry.com

I moved all my sites to asmallorange.com they have amazing support and I have not heard of anything bad about them.

Hope that helps ... somewhat.
