Looking for faster server/hosting...very dynamic content
Hello,
I have a very dynamic calendar on my home page. Currently I'm using 1and1, but the calendar loads very slow. They told me that they were working on it about two months ago, but nothing has changed.
Does anyone have another service they would reccommend?
Thanks in advance.

Can you give me a link of your homepage?
Maybe I have some suggestions later.

Upperz, my homepage is actually in beta form right now, and honetly I don't want to leak the calendar design until I launch (nothing personal, sir). We've spend about two months on the database design and interface, and now we've ran into problems with the calendar upload speed.

Hello,
I can offer you faster hosting then 1and1. What kind of space and bandwidth requirements are you looking for?
I tailor to business and professional websites. To do this I keep my servers fast by underloading them and not overselling my hard drives, because of this prices are higher then budget hosts, but hopefully you will find it worth it.
I can give you a free trial if you would like to compare the server's speeds.
Give me a call at 1-800-474-1627 x721
Our website is in my signature, but for a trial or a better price on a larger amount of space, PM or call me.

Not a lot of people can offer you an account unless we have your requirements but if your running off a PHP/Linux based content then I will be able to assist you.
We are registered and recognized by the state of Delaware to do business and will be more than glad to help you with your needs.
Respectfully,

Hosting options
Hi All,
We have been using Mosso.com for some of our other sites hosting needs and have been very happy with the level of customer service (24/7) and the quality of the hosting packages.
They have just authorized me to offer members 20% OFF your first month of hosting. If interested, go to MOSSO :: The Hosting Cloud - Home and when signing up, enter in: REF-VIEWMEDIA
Anyone else using Mosso Hosting?

I've heard some bad things about 1and1 really overloading their servers lately. my site offers hosting rebates for 16 different hosts. The hosts we used are some of the big name shared hosts but they also offer dedicated hosting. Some of the hosts we give rebates for are IXwebhosting, hostmonster, and hostican. You should check out my site and when you decide on a host and come to our site before you buy in order to save yourself some money!

You may to look beyond cheap shared hosting so you can have more server resources.
Consider a semidedicated or vps web hosting plan. Managed VPS hosting plans start at around $30 per month.

I'd recommend dot5hosting. They are budget hosts, been hosting with them for one and a half years now and they're awesome.
Or try hostquack.com, the sites on my siggy is all hosted by them.
