    Domain Age

If I get a domain transferred to me from a friend will it affect the domain's age? For instance, if the domain is a year old now, when it is transferred to my hosting account will the age go back to 0 years?

I don't think it will. I have a domain that I purchased a few months ago that still says thats it two years old. I think its the date of first registration.

Nope it wouldn't. Had an aged domain transferred to me and it didn't modify the age.

Good on you for obtaining the aged domain!

Just out of curiosity, why is an aged domain more profitable?
