Lightbulb Will share revenue for SEO work

My site Intoxihated just never got the initial traffic it needed to get popular. I know the site has huge potential, and it's well made. If you think you can make the site profitable, I'll give you a cut of the ad revenue. PM me.

Hey R8,, So I took a look at the site and some of the stories were funny. I was a bit confused as to what exactly the point was. The primary page looked like I opened some where in the middle of a forum. It took me a few minutes to find an area that actually stated the point was to share stories and pictures.

You need more life in the site. If I'm bored after 30 seconds to a minute, if I can't find some thing that catches my eye, I'm going to leave. You have the ability to add pics to the post. You need to make those pics visible without having to click on the "pic" link.

To sum up, I think using facebook and twitter to grab users is a great start, however the site needs some work before you are going to get a large following. In this case, a majority of college students.

Best of luck,

Enjoy Life,
Nick

If you run with pic enlargment, make sure you have the bandwidth and proper scripting to make sure it's quick and not delayed. Remember who your target crowd is and what your subject is. Dark backroom creates a darker room. You need something a little brighter. Not too bright, not too dark. Your site is a great deal of reading which means you do not want them falling asleep on you. Color is very important. Ill look over the site again later and let you know of anything else. Best of luck.

Enjoy Life,
Nick

I would suggest you to do some link building to increase the SERP with particular keyword, that is the most simple SEO......

What you need here is some solid marketing, not SEO. There is no way to define which keywords to target, and which you want to rank for. Your site is focused mostly on people sharing experiences, and you seem to be looking to attract social traffic.

Get on twitter and facebook and hit your friends with a link or two. Then, find out where people from FML and TextsFromLastNight like to hang out - and meet them there to introduce your take on story sharing.

i suggest you scarp your current 'structure' and install a setup that runs on wordpresMU, buddypress, and bbpress to create more off a community feel

this would allow you to scale and expand into the future... whilst setting it all up in a way that is easy to understand... so once a person goes yo your site... the landing page clearly describes what you are doing and why... giving links to where people should go and why

having a community would also allow you to later introduce products and sell them to your members... even if it's just a t-shirt... or a cap... or a stubby holder... or just a book with the user photos and stories.... so MUCH possibility... just where do you want to take it?
