Depends on how much traffic your service will get the customer. Besides, why not just submit your site for free?

Not all of us have the time to manually submit our sites to 100 do-follow social media websites. Realistically it takes about a weekend to do manually (the best way).

I make a list of all the social bookmarking sites I want to submit my site to. These include Digg, del.icio.us, Stumble Upon and reddit. These are the best social bookmarking sites. Just do a search for social bookmarking sites on Google to make a list of sites.

Really Social book marking brings good traffic and at the same time backlinks also.But they are not permanent.The main thing is keep udating.Join in communities
do updations and so on...then the backlink will remain with good traffic

I agree 100%, you have to be consistent and keep submitting news to the social bookmarking sites, then you will have steady traffic flow.
