You can write a press release for your business. You just need to come up with something newsworthy and submit it to editors for publication. You need to come up with an angle that would be interesting to journalists and the people that read their publications.

A press release is a news release that is news worthy and promotes a website, a product or service. It could help you to drive traffic.

Newsworthiness is key. Find an angle that makes your product newsworthy and suits the publication.

This of a press release as a lead for a journalist. They have stories to write and are always looking for leads. But remember, the goal of the publication is to get readers to read their stories and buy their publication so your story or press release needs to be something they want to write to their audiences about.

If you have a hard time coming up with an angle, ask people how they see your product and what is the thing about it that would make them want to learn more? What problem does your product solve? How does it make people's lives better?

I feel that Press Releases are helpful if you submit them in good sites which have a high page rank. Because of its high page rank, the Press Releases will get optimized in Google, and if a particular keyword from the PR is typed in the google search, the PR shows up.

Press release submission is a proven way to attract targeted visitors to your website. Search Engine robots visit PR sites several times in a day
