Thumbs up PPC (Google AdWords) and organic SERPS
Just a quick point that I think is worth mentioning...

When you're using PPC, in particular Google AdWords, make sure to identify which 'keywords' and 'keyword phrases' you can achieve top rankings for organically (without paying for).

Once you know that you can achieve good rankings for those keywords organically, then exclude them from your AdWords set of keywords. That way you don't waste your budget; you only pay to rank for those more competitive keywords that you aren't ranking for organically. Check on an ongoing basis as your rankings for the more competitive keywords (hopefully) improve.

Eg: My site easily ranks at the top for "bookkeeping software", but "accounting software" is much more competitive....
