Has anyone's Google Page Ranking been affected by selling links?

I have never actually sold any links so my sites havnt been affected. I think it was a lot more over hyped than the porblem deserves.

do a search in Google for "decreased pagerank selling links"

You will see a ton of articles and info that all says Google recently decreased many sites for selling links... many of the top sites were decreased in Google Page Ranking

Yea but people like john chow and darren rowse got hit, but didnt their page ranks get reinstate back up in the last page rank?

Not that I really follow Page Ranking updates these days, but a few of my sites went from PR5 to PR4. I might sell a few links on one of the sites but didn't see any change in google referred traffic.

i think google has better things to do then worry about whos selling links on there sites

Pageranks are way overrated anyway and not a good benchmark of were a site is!!!
