Froogle, also known as Google Product Search is a price campaign website which makes easy to find information about products, services for sale online. Any company can submit products individually or in bulk via Google Base at no cost.

What is Google Base?

Google base is a free service provided by Google for submitting all types of online and offline products, services which might be found on Froogle and Google Search engines

How to submit Products in Froogle:

Step 1- Create an account in Google Base.
Step 2- You can submit your products one by one individually or in bulk amount by creating a data feed file.

As someone that lives outside of the US, I found it intensely frustrating...
Nothing in Australia shows up on there, and unlike most of Google's other services, there doesn't seem to be a way to localise it to a region.

It works extremely well in the following situations:
1. You have the lowest price on an extremely competitive product -- Not how I recommend marketing, but you could use it as a loss-leader / lead generation product.

2. You have a long tail product. I know a business that sells antiques and receives 1,000s of a page views a month and has made $10,000+ a month in new business primarily from Froogle.
