Roger, I'm gonna throw this out there that I think it's shady to try to promote your own site like a disinterested observer. Come out and say it. I respect that. But to say, "Hey, you can do well with a site like this. It's a pretty good site," when it's yours just scares me off.

You'd better submit your site to some relatively directoris,and i think you'd better check it out whether it have PR,i think if it have PR,i think it's better.

I am not sure about free directory submission help in page rank. But quality links from relevant site having good PR help in Page Rank.
