Here are some ideas that you can do to get traffic to your blog:

- Participate in a blog carnival; submit a unique, quality article and you'll get a nice traffic spike to your blog

- Guest blog on a popular blog or website

- Join BlogCatalog.com and particpate in the community to help drive traffic to your blog

- Write and submit a press release

- Join a BlogNetwork such as Weblogs

- Get yourself on a popular blog's Blogroll by writing the blog owner
