Lightbulb Anyone here using TweetBucks?

TweetBucks

How much can I make?
That depends on how many people click on your shortened links. It also depends on how many people purchase a product (assuming the link you provided goes to a participating merchant site). You keep 70% of all commissions earned through product sales. The Ad-Frame currently pays approximately $1-$2 each CPM.
Curious to know if anyone has or knows anyone that actually makes money off things like this?

I assume that's why the URL to Tweetbucks (Beta) - Shorten any URL and make money! is through a tinyurl.

Oh and I think $1-$2 CPM falls under the too good to be true category too.

Not sure what you're implying, but tinyurl is not an affiliate program. lol

$1-$2 CPM is too good to be true?? How do you figure? Do you know what CPM is? 1000 clicks to make $1 is too good to be true?

Sorry I was in a bad mood this morning I can't visit tinyurl sites when I'm here.

$1-2 CPM implies $1-2 cost per thousands impressions. I guess there is no reason it can't be used for cost per thousand clicks, but in the online advertising world its typically used for impressions.

And 0.001/click is a really really really bad rate.

haha...I know those days, no problem. "Impressions" is the word I really MEANT instead of clicks. And yeah, I totally agree that those rates are pretty welfare. That's why I was wondering if people actually wasted time on things like this.

Well $1-2 CPM for impressions isn't bad, you can do better with a well monetized site and CPC, but CPM is guaranteed. Most of my sites do not make $1-2 CPM, usually its in the $0.35 CPM (for CPC ads).

Now compound that with the fact that monetizing a exiting twitter visitors is undoubtedly worse then monetizing your content based site....

That's why I think $1-2 CPM is too good to be true
