why isn't google indexing my site?

You need to get backlinks, set up a blog at wordpress. Or if you don't like writing work with social bookmarks like digg and others. Good luck

i have done a lot of websites before.. and usually it doesn't take long for google to index my site..
i have just made a new site and i have added the URL in google.com/addurl.. it has been a week or so.. still my site is not there is the google index... its kinda puzzling.. whats going on?

Here's a tip I learned from Simon Leung. Use Google Tools. Start blogger. Do a short write up about your site and link it to your site. You'll see results fast.

Same with Yahoo. You want to be indexed. Go to Yahoo sites forums and so on to write some comments and do a link back.

Basicly the Search Engine favors people who uses their tools. Others are not a priority.
