What is the way to monetize your site?

Hello Everyone,

How do you monetize your site? I realize AdSense will not get as much as people think and the best is to join an affiliate program (or so I heard). Is it possible to make a decent living doing this, and selling domains as well?

I own a few domains I would like to monetize now that I have more time on my hands. I know web design fairly decently (no where near the best).

Affiliate program and Google Adsense are the easiest way of monetizing a website. All you need is more traffic to earn a good income.
