Tracking Success of email campaign

Hey folks!

I'm planning on sending out an email to some of my customers notifying them to a new product.

The email will contain a URL link (mentioned in multiple places) and I'm interested in seeing how effective this email is.

Is it possible to track how many times this email link is clicked?

Obviously some customers will go to that page straight from my site so basically I need to filter our the contribution from the email campaign.

I haven't try email campaign. And not sure how effective it is.
