    Exclamation ???SEO question???

Ok so me and my partner are launching a website and I want to get everyones opinion on the matter. We are going to have articles upon articles we have hired like 25 writers so it will all be unique and what not but I'm what would be best thing to do with the content.

    Should we:
    A. post it on the site in a article directory/archives manner
    or
    B. post all content to sites such as AC, Triond, etc that pay for performance and present it as such,"Check us out on AC" and then hyperlink all the url with the title of the articles.

I personally think B would be better because of the links from those high quality pages AND we'd get paid for performance. But i'm looking for opinions here. I would appreciate any and all advice. Thanx.

Your best bet is going to be to just publish them on your site, leave them there for a few months to let them get indexed and then submit them to other sites.

This way google has time to index the content on your pages and will see it as original content. Google doesn't punish as much for duplicate content as people think they do, it is just that they will give much more credit to the original source, they don't want ten pages with the same article popping up for one query.

So the key is to establish your site as the original publisher and then get your stuff out there via other channels.

Be very careful where you publish your articles though, the wrong links can kill you.

Ok thanx!! We're just going to post them to our website. That makes sense to me. So basically after a couple months I should THEN submit it to a couple article directories? Yea I understand that want to watch the company you keep sort of speak haha I would only do like AC, Triond, and maybe two or three more

I would do some research before you submit anywhere. For instance google - triond review - and read the first result. There are so many article submission sites, it is important to educate yourself and make sure you use the best ones for your situation.

I agree with OG Content. While I think getting back links from reputable article submission sites and PR releases could help your seo it also could harm you even more if done wrong. You want SE's to find the content on your site first and not others. YOu want to be acknowledged as original content owner.

Same with any backlinks you do not want to overwhelm the SEs with your 500 link submission a day or paid links and article submissions. Even most people don't like to hear it it takes time. By now most SEs ignore or even punish link spamming and paid links. You could spam or black hat your ranking to reach top but pretty fast could get banned or loose everything.

I still think you can submit very few intro articles to very reputable sites or do a press release with no harm. Make sure your writers understand their job including keyword density, interlinking etc.

so my advise take it slow but the right way and you will have a site for life not a fly by night.

    good luck

Honestly speaking you should post individualy in each article directory to get the links. As google will crawl each directory and will get the link back to your website and get the baclinks to your website.

Once you publish your articles on your site and they have been there for a few weeks, be sure to submit to Ezine Articles and Articles Base as well. Google favors these two quite a bit, and they are free to submit to.

Another tip: Build Squidoo lenses and Hubpages to point to your pages, using the same keyword phrases you are using on that page of your site. This helps build page rank.

Also, interlink your web pages. Google likes a site thats pages link to one another.

    Good luck!

You want all your original content to be found on YOUR site first. Once you have a ton of original articles and content on your site, it will be beneficial to get the links from the article submission sites. Backlinks are huge!
