Hoping someone can help in this thread

My question is, 'Can you add TOO MUCH content to your site'

Everyone I've spoken to has advised that the key to good Google ranking is content, which I agree

With this in mind, I need to know if you can add ''too much content'' on one page

I have a website doing quite well in a very competitive market

What I'm thinking is to add about 2000-3000 words with a keyword density of 4% on each page

The page will not look messy as I will have it in a roll over

At the moment I have about 500 words on each page

Is this a good strategy for SEO or would there be too much content according to Google???

    Your help needed

(Note, I am aware that backlinks is also important in improving Google rankings, which is something we will concentrate on as well)

I've got one question, Is directory submission still considered a good source of backlinks? I've noticed that some directory submissions are being ignored by some SEOs.

If I were to make a website blankenthusiast.com would i be better off having blank-enthusiast.com in terms of how google looks at the keywords? When I say "better off", I'm referring to its long-term traffic, rate at which it gains google page rank, and any other factors you deem important.

Can only 'On Page Optimization' improve the Search Engine Positions of a website? Like for instance, all the meta tags are properly incorporated and H1 tags and the URL issues and site map etc. All these aspects are properly taken care of. After this, do you still need to work on 'Off Page' process for the website to improve its Search Engine Position?

    Thanks for your answers!

Hi , I have a question about 301 redirect? What worst possible if we don't use 301 redirect? I want detail about it, Also tell me some thing about canonicalization issue? Is site not appearing on Google for its keywords is it due to this or there are any other factors? Site is not penalize or in sandbox, but except its name no keyword is appearing on Google.

Hi, I would like to ask if Social Media is better than Article submissions? Which can generate traffic faster? Some Social media sites really help in generating traffic, but others doesn't really work, as well as article directories.

Article Submissions is something you would look into for long term backlinks and something that could bring you traffic over time

Social media helps in generating traffic but takes a lot more work so if you go viral traffic will increase but it is only a temporary thing. Like in digg if you hit the front page you'll get a surge of traffic but after that it'll just be stable. With social media you also have to have a lot of things go right if you want something to go viral. Such as like getting over 200+ diggs and diggs from trusted power users not just spam accounts alot of these type of things matter in social media

Yes on page optimization is really important. By adjusting your meta keywords and description you can get more people to click on your result in google. Meta Descriptions and titles will either provoke a searcher to click or your link or not. The keywords also tell google what your page relates to and in any SEO campaign on page optimization is important so that you are well optimized in the search results.

Off page processes are always needed in order to get listed well. back in the day you wouldn't really need to do anything but now a days depending on your niche you need to build back links from authority sites to increase your exposure and tell google that your site is getting a link for this particular anchor text. The more links with the anchor text the more relevant you are for the keyword. Of course authority matters here

Personally I think with directory submissions you have to make sure that they are not in a "bad neighborhood" meaning spammed to death. Also paid directories that are in your niche are a great way to get a backlink. I suggest Best of the web , Joeant, Yahoo Directory, and Business.com as the top general directories although they are pricey they are worth it especially BOTW , I jumped to the 4 positions when i submitted my site.
