PR4 text links - monthly rent

I'm wanting to start renting out links on a PR4 site that has very few outbound links (so you would get a good amount of the PR4). The links would also appear on 8 PR3 pages within the site. So one PR4 and 8 PR3 links. $65/mo total.

Must be a quality site and must have something to do with business (so it doesn't look like a link buy should someone from Google stop by ).

I got a PR5 link on a related site for $20 a month. Can you accept a price closer to this amount?

I'm curious about your luck too. PM me the URL if you don't mind.

Homepage is $50/mo, sitewide is $100/mo (the site has about 15 pages, 6 of which are PR3).

Sorry, no. You got a very, very good deal on that link. A lot of it depends on the number of other outbound links on the page though... usually sites that sell them really cheap use volume to make up for the low price (maybe they did not, just saying). I'd usually rather have a link on a PR2 page that only has a few outbounds than one on a PR5 that has tons.

Funny article. I do think there were some wacky results with this last export.

This site has two PR5 links, two PR3s, and working on some others. So I don't consider if "undeserved" but maybe a bit lucky. The nature of the site will allow me to get some free solid links, so I'm going to be working on that.

PR4 sites typically charge $20 for a link unless they are a very specific niche site. $50 is a bit too high for a regular business site. With that being said I have not seen your site nor do I know its content so I don't want to be to quick to judge.

    My experience
    PR1-2: $2-$5
    PR3 (generic) $5-$10
    PR3 (niche) $5-$25
    PR4 (generic) $20
    PR4 (niche) $25-$50
    PR5 (generic) $50
    PR5 (niche) $100-$250
*I've never purchased a PR5 or higher link before... just got price quotes.

There are of course many other things to take into account. For every 10 links you have on a page you have to cut the price in half. So when you mentioned that you are limiting the number of links you are doing a good job at selling a valuable product.

I have never really priced them either, I just based it on what some of my SEO friends advised. Not everyone will pay $50 - but there are people in the niche who would gladly pay more than that, because of the relevancy of the link. We'll see.

The sitewide may be a better deal since there are about 6 or 7 PR3 pages in addition to the homepage, plus some other pages which are unranked but definitely have PR being passed from the rest of the site.

Oh my fault man, didn't know the details just from one of your posts you said you thought it was a bit undeserved. Mine was completely, guess I'll just ride it out or try to sell the site asap.

I disagree with this pricing structure but would love how you came up with it in all honesty. Have you ever used TLA, TLB, or Conductor? With that said, links in the brackets below are more expensive by 2-3 folds.

Now if you are shopping at forums.digitalpoint that makes more sense, 90% of them are there to make money on volume like flnazrael mentioned and a lot of those guys are based out of India hence the prices...

    Capitalist,

Sorry for the confusion - I do think it deserves PR, certainly a 3 if nothing else, but since the links are brand new, I'm surprised it got 4. My frustration was more with my primary site, which is still sitting at 3 even though it has a better link profile than this new site.

I think a lot of the stuff on DP is garbage, too... sites with a really bad ratio of inbound to outbound links, sites open about the link selling, low TrustRank, etc.

I'm basing number on previous purchases. I have used DP and YE as well as two different SEO companies. Please post what you think reasonable prices are... this could end up being a very useful thread for everyone on YE.

I would not touch TLA with a 10 foot pole anymore.

I updated the prices - now it is $65/mo for a PR4 link + 8 PR3 links on inner pages.
