We've been trying to raise our page ranking too. I've been linking and posting and reading and doing whatever I can to get our URL out there. Frustrating! We may get 50 hits a day. Luckily we have good resellers for our product until I get this all figured out.

Would you like to ask somebody to help you detect what is the problem. You know there is a way to know that. If you need some help please let me know, I know about some companies that can offer good services by not too much money.

This post was kind of off topic, but he does have a point. Just look at woot, or newegg or tigerdirect or monoprice.
They not only have good page rank but awesome marking with well made and easy to use pages.
Hell, woot is so busy sometimes that the servers crash.

SEO is indeed a specialized art and science. It's not a quick fix, but requires commitment on the part of the client and the SEO expert/firm hired.

So I suggest you search round and find a reputable firm that you are comfortable with (check their references/testimonials) and let them know your goals and work with them to achieve your goals.

If you're looking for a quick fix solution then try a PPC campaign (like what you're currently doing with Google. But this on its own cannot achieve long term benefits except if done with SEO.

    Hope that helps?

I'm afraid that paying for SEO can be very useful, maybe you say the opposite because you're just thinking about an specific kind of business, but sometimes it depends on the size of it. Because if its a huge one, and is locatted into the massive marketing, of course that SEO will be helpful and useful for his owner! NO Doubt!
