Need to place banners through a advertising campaign.

I want to have some banners for my site and need them to be carried through a well brought up display adversting campaign. The service provider should have a good network and should be experienced and lead a professional team. To make this go in a better way I want some suggestions to help me decide a potential one.

    Thanks in advance!!!

Google adwords is great I have used them befor but you will have to pay probably 20 to 50 cents for each click which really can add up after a while. I would still suggest adwords as a long term solution but I may have another solution for you. My site is about to begin selling ads directly instead of through Google and one of the hardest parts obviously is selling the ads. In order to sell our first few ads we are giving them to customers ridiculously cheap. Our site is very new but we are experienced with online marketing and we already get between 100-200 hits a day. This is not great but we have only been promoting the site for a few weeks. By the end of the month we expect about 200-400 hits per day. The first ad we are selling is an ad on the top of our home page and will start at only $5/month. This price will obviously be increased in the future as we are able to find more advertisers but this is a unique oppurtunity to get a lot of exposure for almost nothing. I have no way of knowing exactly how much traffic you would recieve from us but I would estimate 10-20 hits per day which is 300-600 hits per month, a huge amount for only $5. Let me know if you are intersted but either way I would still recommend using adsense for the majority of your campaining. You can get very decent traffic from them as long as your willing to spend the money. Just make sure you don't choose all of the most popular keywords because you will end up spending a lot more to outbid competetors than you would settling for the less popular keywords which can cost you as low as 5 cents a click.

adwords has obviously been proven to work. I see adwords as very very un-targeted advertising; which isn't efficient. The best advertising, is where you go out and find the potential customers, and then advertise to them.

example: If you are seting up as a dropshipper, go and find a dropshipping forum and get a deal with the forum to advertise on their site. The people who visit the dropship forum website, are obviously interested in finding a dropshipper, this will get you people who are interested in being your customer, not just anyone who doesnt care about your website.

Can you understand what i'm trying to get at ?

It is beyond me why any small company would actually pay for advertising.......well.....I'm sure it all 'depends' on a variety of things.......but, I personally wouldn't touch adwords with a nine inch pole.......wev'e used MySpace and Facebook significantly.......MySpace even lets you target very narrow niches pretty easily.......our entire friend's list is made up of potential customers......

x3xsoldierx3x, myspace and facebook are really good advertising platforms, do you use software to add friends? have you came accross any software that can get round the captcha codes.. captchacanbe very time consuming.

    Top Ad Networks

Of course you can try Google AdWords and Yahoo but you might pay a higher cost per click....as opposed to going to an ad network that could serve your offer to a targeted market.....I would suggest AdOn Network they serve about 4 - 5 billion ads a month and represent some great verticals like entertaining/gaming, health & beauty, etc. Also depends on your product...if its health related you might want to check out Good Health Advertising
