Cool Marketing and making money with facebook

I have been thinking over the past few weeks about how I can use Facebook to promote my products and my business. I know about the advertising on the side column, but does any one know of other ways to use it for your benefit?

I setup a facebook page specifically for my business, and it has helped me to showcase my portfolio, sites I am completing and sites I have recently launched. There are many applications you can add to make the page your own. I have 38 fans for my page so far, and once in a while if I have a promotion going on I e-mail them to spread the word-- it's a great way to not only sell your products and services, but to also meet other business-minded people for networking opportunities.

Here is the link to mine for you to take a look at:
    facebook.com/home.php?#/pages/Gravenhurst-ON/Just-Joan-Marketing-Services/28766301413

Also, if you add the Visa business network application to your page, they give you a coupon for $100 worth of free facebook advertising.

They very accurately keep track of your page's statistics, so you know where to advertise in the future.

    Hope this helps.

Facebook is a great way to get your website out there, especially due to their "targeted" consumers.

What sort of business are you into?
