    Link Building Tips

Target website profile sites/options you have that relate location and business type from the beginning for example yelp.com, google local business center profiles, etc. Then find what your top competitors for the geo targeted search terms your are trying to rank for are doing by checking out who is linking to them. You can then target the same websites to try to grab your own links. Make sure the content of your website and the profiles have the geo targeted region you are trying to go after within them as well

When it comes to link building, Google gives more value on the quality compared to those irrelevant sites that you are getting, so get back links on relevant and DoFollow sites.

Below are 5 tips for placing text links on free directories and websites:

    1. Identify free directories or websites with high Page Rank. Ensure these directories or sites are high quality sites and are relevant to your industry.

    2. Choose the relevant category where you would want to place your text link. For example: If your website is about internet marketing products, you can choose Business >Advertising & Marketing> Internet Marketing. Many directories offer 2-3 levels of subcategories; make sure you choose the closest category which is relevant to your website.

    3. Post appropriate Titles, Descriptions, Meta keywords and URL of your site. Do not exceed the number or the character limit provided by the site.

    4. While doing the submissions, make sure you vary your titles and descriptions. Using the same title and descriptions across different directories would create duplicated content and may have a detrimental impact on your ranks.

    5. Always provide valid information about your company, email id or address. The email id’s should preferably be domain name email id’s. Make sure you provide active email ids during your submissions.

Well.. there are so many ways to build backlinks to your site. If you have some $$ to spend you can buy links, buy blog posts from relevant blogs. But, if you are someone like me, who don't want to spend money for backlinks, all you have to do is concentrate on the content. Try to post Quality content.. and unique content. Quality is important than Quantity here And there are so many ways to advertise your content for Free like Social Bookmarking, Forum posting, etc.
Also, I find the best way to build link is to enter your desired keyword into Google and analyse the top ten URLs. Find out where their links are coming from and place your link there. Simple!
