    Sufficient plan and preparation are very important. Creating the plan in your mind is not enough. It’s advisable to put it in writing. Create your business plan and calculate details objectively.

    Don't do anything halfway. If you do it halfway, you won't get the results that you want and you're wasting your time. You might need to try a few different things before deciding what to commit to. Once you do though, work hard on it to make it succeed.

    "Match your fees to your promises!
    You cannot promise the marketplace a high quality service and yet charge a bargain-basement fee! If you do, you will send people a mixed-message and it will lose you business every time.

    Everyone knows that quality never comes cheap - that if something looks too good to be true, it is too good to be true! Make your services as valuable to the marketplace as possible and then charge accordingly. "

    The one thing I've learned about working online and promoting my site is that it takes time and consistancy. You will not make money without one or the other. Oh, and a little patience wouldn't hurt. Don't give up anything worth having is worth working/waiting for!

    Have patience, never be satisfied with just one idea, it is necessary to think outside the box. Advertise on different classified ads such as craigslist, kijij, and backpage.

    • Social Bookmarking
    • Directory Submission
    • Write articles and blogs then submit it to different blog and article sites.
    • Have a press release of your work.
    • Join forums and blog commenting
    • Networking is the great way to get a connection.
    • Do the white hat or organic SEO
    • Advertise and optimize your site or product

    In marketing, remember that there are lot of competitors online. And always monitor your traffic. Google analytic, alexia, and page ranks are the ways that you can monitor visitors from your page. And remember "customers are always right" and "treat them like a king".
