    I need some help...

    Hi,

I launched a new travel website not long ago. It is still being developed but one of my main issues at the moment is addressing traffic.

I'm not the best person for SEO, so i am looking for someone to do it for me!!!!

I am willing to provide some sort of payment to this person depending on how well they do.

    Anybody interested????? Thanks everyone.

I would not worry about traffic until your site is finished. There is no point in directing traffic to your site if it is not complete. People will most likely just leave unsatisfied and remember that in the future.

    Sorry but that's wrong,
You should build SEO into your website from the very beginning, otherwise you have to go through the whole site afterwards and do the SEO, ie: rebuild the whole site

Post the url of the site and I'll take a peep for you when I get a moment.

    regards
    James.

well said. I was thinking the exact same thing as you as I was reading this.

You SEO should be thought of before you start building your website. Because onpage optimisation is so important.

Man SEO is a nightmare for me, I think I may have painted myself into a corner here by not doing what people are suggesting (building SEO into the site).

    Hi Giovanni,

I see you've made some changes to the site. It's looking better now.

While i agree with the others, saying that you need to SEO your site from the beginning; it's not always a case of having to redesign the site from scratch.

I've had a look at the code - it not too bad - not great either.

I think that you had a look at that article i wrote on basic SEO...?? That should give you an idea of where you are and what you need to do etc...

How are your search results fairing at the moment? Have you been doing some link building?

    Hi again dylan,

yea have made some changes and it is looking better but i'm really struggling with the Search Engine Optimization. I'm not cklued up on it and really am in desperate need of some help. Times a big factor also! I'll have another read through your guide.

Search rankings are awful at the moment- almost non-existent. For some reason the site ranks 5 or 6 for 'visit-southwest-florida' with dashes. The URL i suppose.

Like i said im not very clued up with SEO so wouldn't really know how to go about link building to start with!!!
