I also agree that article marketing works, but with every marketing technique, there are some downfalls. If you do not know how to write articles, your text will be rejected. Don't think that this is the same as putting up ads on craigslist or backpage, you actually have to sit and write a viable article. The good thing is, once you are familiar with what each site wants (format, content, etc..) and your articles are accepted, then your submissions will start getting optimized by search engines and you'll start seeing your article rankings increase on searches. Again, this is only one of the many ways to use the Internet for marketing. I would also find out what your competitors are doing and come up with a game plan to add more value for your site.

oh, haha. I put my mouse over it, and this box popped up and I thought it was one of those link advertising things so I didn't click it.

I tried writing an article the other day, and ezine reviewed it and accepted it.... the only thing is the title was messed up, I think they might have accidentally put another word in it, so I had to have it edited again. So I'm waiting for them to accept it again.

What about your competitors? Who are they are what are they doing to promote their sites? One thing that you are doing correct is posting to forums, but you need to get on golf related forums and start posting. You need to become a master in your field of business. I'm sure everyone who responded to this thread checked your site, and your Google Analytics results will show hits, but they are not targeted hits. I went to your site and if I signed up, I would not be a good opt-in, as I have no interest in golf. Your goal is to find out where the golfers are and get them to your site ... easier said than done I guess

I requested a quote on this site for SEO, but they never replied...

How does it work? Do I give someone my page files, and they put in code into the html? I have a new site that i'd like SEO done to, but how does it work? How much would it cost?

It depends on what you are looking to get done. SEO is not just one thing and is not always the same for each site it depends on the work that needs to be put into the site. I would suggest getting more then one quote for SEO from multiple providers and make sure the company is reputable. Remember nobody can guarantee #1 placement in Google or any other search engine so be weary if a company states that they can. The price is probably going to be all over the chart for this type of work this is why it is important to get several quotes also make sure that the quote details what is going to be done, what is expected of you, time frame, etc this way you can compare apples to apples.

    your whole gameplan is flawed.

First of all stop wasting money on buying traffic - you can't just buy traffic and expect to make a profit from it.

All you need to do is learn seo.

I'm gonna send you a PM.

I noticed your post said 350 words, and on your site it says 250 words, was one of those a typo or am I missing something?
