    Post Google Vs. Bing

    Hi,

For me google is best till now but i hear that microsoft launch BING in competition of other SEs like google and yahoo.

Bing is a bit faster like google but results are different from google. I listen too that its very good for search image.

I saw bing, interface is looking fine but not use many times so dont know more about it.

What do you think about bing ?

Can bing challenge other Big SEs like google and yahoo ?

    Share your opinion here.

    Thanks

From both my own personal use and all of the reviews I have read, it is pretty unanimous that Bing is a superior product (albeit subtly). The question is, will it ever be able to be as prominent in the eyes of web surfers? To that, I must say, probably not.

Right now Bing is still small. If MS ever get it big, there's a big challenge: know how Bing's algorithm works... that will then be the next big SEO thing.

For me Bing works fine, although their index isn't as big as Google's yet.

Google is already an established SE. Therefore, nothing compares Google.

    Bing is a superior product
Umm why guys? We don't know how either algorithm really works its just speculation.

An interesting /. article (Slashdot Technology Story | Bing Users' Click-Through Rate 55% Higher Than Google Users') states that users coming from bing have a higher rate of ad click through. As the first poster commented "Who would have thought that people who would switch to an inferior search engine based on an aggressive marketing campaign would be more susceptible to advertising?"

Right now there really isn't any difference IMHO. They both return wikipeida as the first result in most cases, and they seem to offer comparable results.

Bing looks flashier, but I personally don't want flash I want functionality and simplicity.

For those who stated bing is better... why?

Well, thats the thing about business. It is always unpredictable, me personally I have used bing and google. I personally like google especially with google chrome out, I've heard from people they really like google chrome. I'd say stick with google unless you want to target a more niche market.
