My name is Dave Nathan and I'm a pay-per-click search engine expert located in the Chicagoland area.
To give you a little background information, I graduated from University of Texas-Austin in 2001 with a degree in marketing, and after a few years of working for "the man," I started playing around with PPC advertising in 2003. I discovered (like many have since) that it can be very profitable sending traffic via PPC to e-commerce sites through their affiliate programs. I've made quite a decent living doing this but I've come to the realization that search arbitrage doesn't require a full-time commitment.
So, I branched out and started Pay Per Click Works. I've always considered myself the "affordable" SEM option out there. I have clients ranging from a Minnesota grandfather clock repair business to Chicago's leading waste management service. I should also note my certification as a Google Advertising Professional and a Yahoo Ambassador.
Because my affiliate income makes up the majority of my income, I can afford to offer low, reasonable prices at a price point perfect for small- to mid-sized businesses.
My current offering is $499 for 5 hours of 1-on-1 search engine consulting. After the first 5 hours of consulting, my rates are simple at $100 per hour. I specialize in PPC (as opposed to natural search) and my greatest strength truly is with Google AdWords. That typically breaks down into 1-2 hours of an account evaluation during which I provide a concrete list of personalized suggestions as to how you can improve your search efforts. I can review those changes with you and even implement them if you'd like. Each of my client relationships is unique; some clients say, "Dave, you're the professional, I trust your judgment." Others say, "We'd like to learn to be able to do this ourselves, so please teach us." The remaining 2-3 hours typically are used for follow-ups and adjustments. Some clients like to schedule weekly or bi-weekly conference calls; others basically use me "On Demand."
In January, I'm launching my new web site & re-branding as SearchGain. My package pricing will jump to $999 from $499 (with an increase in hourly rates, as well). I wish I had discovered YE years ago to be able to effectively network with all of you, but unfortunately, that didn't happen.
