# of results isn't always the best indicator of a query's difficulty. I was on page 1 on of Google for a three word term with about 1.5mil results with one link and an exact match domain name within 3 weeks... but in contrast I've also worked for months on terms with less results that are extremely competitive.
I ranked a site for 8 similar terms in two weeks for $200, though I normally don't like to work that cheap, I saw an easy way to do this job. I've also ranked a client #1 on Google for a 3 word term in less than a month with a brand new site. So quick Search Engine Optimization can be done in some cases.
However, $100 a month is really low.... in discussions with other SEOs, Aaron Wall told me in the past not to even touch anything for less than $1,000 a month, because the time I would invest vs the money I could make just working on my own sites instead of someone else's wouldn't be a good trade off. I'm not established enough to be able to get away with that threshold, but with that said, it's a lot of hassle to have an SEO client for $100 a month. So they either feel that these terms are exceptionally easy, like to work really cheap, just want to take your money, or have no idea what they're getting into. One of those four.
I know that was not helpful at all. LOL

Google isn't as dumb as you think.
