Does ClickBank really work for selling your product?

I have a ClickBank account and noticed that a lot of the merchandise you can sell are generally e-books and reports. But, a lot of them just seem so scam-like -- run your gas engine on water, another weight loss plan, just all sorts of crap.

Does any of it actually sell? Does click bank ever pay you (I sold two items and never got a check...)? If I wrote an e-book, would it be picked up or is there some sort of "ClickBank Clique" that sort of works together to promote specific products they like?

Or, is the ClickBank community just a bunch of snake oil and magic potion dealers that try to sucker everyone on the net out of their cash instead of offering quality products or information? (My e-book would be an instructional designed to save people money within a specific sphere of internet services)?

I absolutely love clickbank and think its a marvelously created way where a newbie or seasoned person trying to make money online can get started. Its free to start, its free to market any product, and there are numerous free methods to market.

How many businesses are out there where you can literally stand to gain profit with little to no overhead?

I highly recommend clickbank to anyone, new or old to internet marketing.

I hear ya nonrate... My advice would be: Create a good product and sell it using the best/most efficient ways possible. Clickbank is a means to an end. If it helps promote/sell your great product...go for it!

i have made money from it
i am a publisher as well as an affiliate
you need to ensure that the product you are selling does not get much refunds
thats one way to ensure that the product is not a scam without purchasing it
.you can use ClickBank Refund Rate Calculator - CbHelper Portal to calculate it

I've made a good amount of money from clickbank. It's really cool because they are constantly bringing in new affiliates and new vendors. It's like a money machine on both sides!!

You need to find proper affiliates to your product yourself as clickbank is only a tracking and payment software between.
BTW. I wanted to get some banners to my sites from clickbank and they refused me to be their affiliate.

Can someone explain how they are making money off of Clickbank? Just placing ads? Or are you creating sales pages for certain products?

And I mean no offence, but I would like to hear from people who have received a check from Clickbank.

Sorry, just to add....

I know people boast about the 'idea' of making money with Clickbank. And I know there are hundreds of e-books you can buy to 'show' you how to make money on clickbank, but I would like to talk to someone who has made money.

And just to clarify. I would like to hear from people who have received a check from Clickbank. And that check was more than what you spent on advertising for the product you were paid for. I think it's great to get a check for $3,000.00, but did you spend $6,000.00 to get that $3,000.00?
