Question Difference between SEO and PPC

I know this might be a little elementary, but what is the main difference between SEO and PPC? Do you consider PPC to be part of SEO?

    SEO - Search Engine Optimization

    PPC - Pay Per Click

Both ways of getting traffic except the first one is free, lol! Both have their advantages and disadvantages. A good webmaster uses both if possible!

SEO effects your natural ranking in the search engines.
PPC is actually paying for a ranking instantly.

If you have a well established site, good SEO will get you to the front page of search engines on its own.
If you're just starting out, PPC will get you there at a cost.
The benefit of PPC is that there are content networks as well. When people stick an AdSense script on their site, if your content is related, it can show up there as well... effectively, you may show up on a competitors site.
