I've been looking at a few SEO management programs as of late, but haven't made any purchases just yet.

I think you'll find that programs such as Market Samurai or WebCEO (I think it's called), provide you with a wealth of information on how your website is performing against competitors who are in the top10 (It will show you your position as well as the amount of keyword references, SEO optimization ratings, back links etc...).

Check out the tool from SEO Book -> tools.seobook.com/firefox/rank-checker...simply put it into Firefox and it will check rankings for you. But realistically, if you are only checking 20 keywords or so, just do it manually with a find.
