    Choosing a domain name

Will a domain name help you in the search rankings?

I am a real estate agent and I am having a site made. Would a domain like RealEstateAgentTravis.com be better than AgentTravis.com?

What about the page subtitle? Would using more keywords help me there too?

Sorry, I dont know much about SEO marketing.

I believe RealEstateAgentTravis is much better SEO-wise, but AgentTravis however is much easier to remember and less chances of typo error. Your meta tags should contain keywords that are "related" to your website.

I am a Real Estate agent and work for a web design company. I can answer any questions you may have.

I am located in Indianapolis, Indiana. A good root/main Domain for my Real Estate business would be:
    Real-Estate-Indianapolis.com
    Real-Estate-Indy.com
    Real-Estate-IN.com
    and so forth.

The dashes "mimic" the spaces when someone types in a keyword. See if one of those domains is available with you substituting your target market for Indy/Indianapolis.

You can also have AgentTravis as a domain that redirects to your website. This will allow you to pass that out to random people and marketing while using the other for SEO purposes.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

As for domain names; The smaller the domain name the better in most cases.

The page subtitle should describe what your website does or is about.

Keywords are very important in your meta tags. Just make sure you keep the keywords relevant to the content on your website.

Dont forget to market and advertise your website when its done. Advertising is the most important part of having a website.

Multiple Domain names can help you in many ways. It all depends on what you plan to do with each domain name.

A good relevant domain name will help you somewhat when ranking in the search engines. Lets say you are selling dog food and dog food is a highly searched term, then having the domain dogfood.com can only help you.
