Where to find quality AND dirt cheap website design?

I am looking to start a website. Nothing really fancy but I have a rough idea of what I want.

I don't have the exorbitant amount of money people are charging and I'm working on a shoe-string budget.

I also would like some SEO and general consultation on what would work best and monetizing it etc.

Any recommendations of where to find this?

I'd say your best bet is Squarspace (squarespace.com).

Tough part is if you don't read the documentation you'll still end up with something that's a piece of crap. PLUS you don't get something custom. QUALITY and CHEAP don't go together unless PREBUILT and TEMPLATED are thrown in there somewhere...but hey - there are some nice templates out there.

Our company is coming out with a competitor product called mango (justaddmango.com) but it's still in private beta. We hope to release in a couple of weeks (after multiple delays for UI improvement).

I used to work with them, they have done 1 site for me, although that site is down.

They are Fair,Honest and do great work

They are Affordable, but i would like to add - "Dirt Cheap" - is not always the best Option - IMHO (In My Humble Opinion)

You should try those sites out if you're on a limited budget... but you will have to look a bit harder to find talent with a reasonable quote.
