    video broadcast online

    hi all,
    i am thinking to create a online sharing and watching video. yes, youtube is the closest.
    Does anyone can advice me on the technology i need to know, and to use?
    or may be which step should i follow to do complete that project?

    anyway, what i wonder is to understand the website architecture and the key- database architecture. As well as technology used.
    Do u think it worth to buy a script rather than built it by a group of programmer ?
