I installed Cyberdefender a couple of months ago, and really like it. The free version had some annoying pop-ups, so I decided to get the $24 upgrade. I have been very happy with it.

I have not had any problems/viruses since it was installed on my computer, but it cleared a few malware that tried to infect my system. That's pretty cool, as far as I'm concerned.

I hope this helps you out.

Cyberdefender is garbage. Get a real AV. Here is what the experts recommend.

I like Free AVG and Avira Anti-virus for virus removal. I like Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for spyware/scumware removal.

I used to use Avira free AV but it had that annoying popup during updates. I now moved to the new Microsoft Security Essentials. The latest version is quite good and no nags. I recommend at least giving it a try even if you are anti-M$.
