Honestly, forums can be difficult to start. People who go to forums and see there are no posts, will leave and go find a site with a bigger community. I recommend writing some original content and articles and monetizing it with AdSense or the Amazon Affiliate program. It is simple to setup a WordPress blog, add content, and include widgets for monetization. If your content is unique and keyword rich, you will get good traffic from searches in Google, Yahoo, MSN, etc.

Hope that helps

"Writing articles," or "adding content," can be a bit overwhelming. Where do you even start? Those domains all have great potential - I mean what bride hasn't wanted to save money on their wedding?

Here are some tips on HOW to create some pillar content on these sites so that your readers have at least something to read should you decide to go the content route.

I say stick with Wordpress. Install the All-In-One SEO Pack plugin and Akismet for best results.

I recommend adding original and well thought out blog posts gradually rather than slapping a bunch of cookie-cutter articles into your site and letting it sit there. Update once a week or even once a month but put some time, thought and energy into your posts. I believe visitors will notice this and be more inclined to browse your site longer. (Which in turn means more opportunity for them to click your links.)

Finally, the key (in my opinion) to a successful blog that generates organic traffic is to write about what people are searching for. I use this website: tools [dot] seobook [dot] com/keyword-tools/seobook/index [dot] php

(Sorry I had to hack up the URL because I don't have 10 posts yet so I can't post a link yet.)

That site used to be totally open but now you have to register for a free account which still isn't a big deal. It's a great tool to utilize.

Most people can tell a cookie-cutter site when they see one. I always go with the original and organic approach. Create some good content and invest more time, rather than more money, into your website.

Hope this helps and best of luck to you!

Cheers,
Cody
